The organization is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to play a critical role in leveraging data as a strategic asset. This position will work closely with product, operations, analytics, and engineering teams to build the data infrastructure that supports business decisions, product development, operational optimization, and customer-facing solutions.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the organization’s data pipelines and infrastructure, designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable ETL processes and data systems. The role will also involve establishing efficient data practices, improving data quality, and ensuring that engineering processes generate meaningful and performant data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality data solutions and large-scale data pipelines.
• Take ownership of the organization’s data infrastructure and ETL pipelines.
• Optimize data flow and data collection processes for cross-functional teams.
• Design and maintain core data objects and data models across the organization.
• Implement and maintain data quality checks, monitoring systems, and reliability processes.
• Develop client-facing reporting solutions and supporting datasets.
• Create metrics datasets and dashboards that support data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure application processes generate meaningful and reliable data.
• Work closely with product, operations, analytics, and other teams to improve data quality and usability.
• Optimize data storage and processing for performance and scalability.
• Contribute to the development of efficient engineering workflows and best practices.
• Work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
• Support a fast-paced, high-growth engineering environment with a strong focus on ownership and execution.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Proven experience with data modeling and database design.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge of data warehousing solutions, particularly Snowflake.
• Understanding of software development workflows and engineering best practices.
