Responsibilities
- Lead Implementations: Manage customer onboarding and deployment from initial configuration through system integration, testing, and launch.
- Integrate Enterprise Systems: Build and maintain integrations with ERP platforms, customer relationship management systems, and other enterprise applications, including NetSuite, SAP, and Salesforce.
- Develop Custom Solutions: Write production-quality Python code, scripts, automations, and custom integrations to address customer requirements.
- Manage Data and API Integrations: Work with APIs, ETL/ELT workflows, enterprise authentication, and other integration technologies to connect systems reliably.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to deliver a smooth technical experience throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Improve Deployment Processes: Identify inefficiencies in implementation workflows and develop solutions that improve deployment speed, consistency, and reliability.
- Influence Product Development: Share customer insights, technical challenges, and implementation feedback with Product teams to help shape the product roadmap.
- Build Internal Tools: Develop technical documentation, reusable components, and internal tools that make future customer deployments more efficient.
- Engage Directly with Customers: Work with customer stakeholders to understand business requirements, resolve technical issues, and deliver effective solutions.
- Travel for Deployments: Visit customer locations to support implementation activities, establish relationships, and ensure successful adoption.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical customer-facing role, such as Solutions Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or Forward Deployed Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Python and the ability to develop production-quality code.
- Experience with modern integration technologies, including APIs, ETL/ELT workflows, and enterprise authentication.
- Ability to take ownership of technical problems and build practical solutions with minimal supervision.
- A proactive approach to improving systems, processes, and customer outcomes.
- Experience collaborating with Sales teams in pre-sales and post-sales environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineers, business stakeholders, and executives.
- Comfort working in startup or high-growth environments where requirements and priorities may evolve.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI- or machine learning-powered automation.
- Familiarity with fintech integrations and enterprise financial workflows.
- Experience with developer tools and enterprise software platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud-based application deployments.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies.
- Experience designing reusable integrations or implementation frameworks that support scalable customer deployments.
