Job Description

The Data Science & Analytics Lead will drive data-driven decision-making and advanced analytics initiatives within the retail domain. This onsite role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and data engineering teams to deliver actionable insights, predictive models, and AI/ML-powered solutions aligned with retail business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead data science and analytics initiatives that support retail business objectives.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where data and analytics can improve decision-making.
  • Partner with product and data engineering teams to develop and deliver analytics solutions.
  • Develop actionable insights from complex datasets to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Contribute to predictive modeling and AI/ML-powered solutions for retail use cases.
  • Apply data analytics and DataOps practices to improve the reliability and effectiveness of data-driven solutions.
  • Use data visualization to communicate findings and insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Help establish and improve analytics processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Influence stakeholders through data-driven analysis and strong business understanding.

Required Skills

  • ADF
  • SQL (DataOps)
  • Python
  • DevOps
  • Strong experience in data science and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders using data.
  • Experience working collaboratively with business, product, and data engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with cloud ecosystems such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of MLOps practices.
  • Experience applying advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and AI/ML techniques in a retail environment.
