About the Role

The Forward Deployed Engineer will work directly with healthcare clients to understand their needs and participate in the design and implementation of customized technology solutions.

This role provides an opportunity to work closely with healthcare organizations, contribute to projects that support patient access and care quality, and help deliver technology solutions in real-world environments.

The position involves providing technical support, solving implementation challenges, maintaining documentation, and staying informed about developments in healthcare technology and regulations. The engineer will also contribute ideas and technical solutions that support successful client deployments.

What You’ll Do

• Be willing to travel up to 20% of the time to client sites, build solutions on site, and conduct demonstrations.
• Participate in implementation processes and help integrate technology solutions into client environments.
• Provide technical assistance and contribute to problem-solving during deployment and integration phases.
• Collaborate with healthcare clients to understand their technology needs, compliance requirements, and patient care objectives.
• Support development and engineering teams in creating tailored solutions for healthcare organizations.
• Identify and address technical challenges that arise during project implementation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support client onboarding and ongoing system maintenance.
• Stay informed about healthcare technology trends and applicable regulations to help identify relevant solutions.
• Work directly with clients and healthcare organizations while gaining exposure to different environments and operational challenges.

What You Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ years of professional experience in software engineering or a similar role.
• Foundational knowledge of full-stack engineering principles and system design.
• Experience with programming languages and technologies such as Python, JavaScript, React, and SQL.
• Experience building 0-to-1 products.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and engage confidently with clients.
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, client-focused healthcare technology environment.
