The organization works directly with healthcare providers and focuses on rapidly deploying technology that can improve patient access, affordability, operational efficiency, and quality of care.

Summary
The Forward Deployed Engineer will work directly with healthcare clients to understand their technical requirements and participate in the design, implementation, and deployment of customized solutions. This highly collaborative role combines software engineering, technical problem-solving, client engagement, and healthcare technology expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Travel up to 20% to client sites to support deployments, build solutions, and conduct demonstrations.
  • Participate in implementation processes and help integrate solutions into client environments.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot challenges during deployment and integration.
  • Collaborate directly with healthcare clients to understand technology requirements, compliance considerations, and patient care objectives.
  • Partner with development and engineering teams to design and deliver tailored healthcare technology solutions.
  • Identify and address technical challenges throughout project implementation.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation to support client onboarding, deployments, and system maintenance.
  • Stay informed about developments in healthcare technology and applicable regulations.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and technical solutions to improve healthcare workflows and outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and collaborate with stakeholders throughout implementation projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 1+ years of professional experience in software engineering or a similar technical role.
  • Foundational knowledge of full-stack engineering principles and system design.
  • Experience with Python, JavaScript, React, and SQL.
  • Experience building products from 0-to-1.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Comfortable collaborating directly with clients and technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, client-focused healthcare environment.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as required.
