Summary
The Deployed Engineer will work closely with customers to help them maximize the value of web infrastructure and API solutions. This role combines hands-on engineering expertise with customer engagement, requiring a deep understanding of customer products, use cases, and technical requirements. The position will also involve helping customers scale their use of the platform and driving measurable customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customers to understand their products, technical requirements, and use cases.
  • Help customers maximize the value and capabilities of the company’s API.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows and translate their needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Serve as a highly knowledgeable and hands-on user of the API and related platform capabilities.
  • Partner with customers throughout implementation and ongoing product adoption.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes and support their growth and scalability.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and cross-functional teams to address customer requirements and technical challenges.
  • Take ownership of customer impact and ensure solutions deliver meaningful real-world outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Engineering background with strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working directly with customers in a hands-on capacity.
  • Experience in engineering, consulting, product management, go-to-market, or other customer-focused technical roles.
  • Strong ability to understand complex products, technical requirements, and customer use cases.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Strong ownership, communication, and execution skills.
  • Willingness to work fully in person between the company’s Palo Alto headquarters and San Francisco office.
