Key Responsibilities
- Embed directly with a strategic customer and work closely with its technical and business teams.
- Design, build, and deploy production-scale integrations between voice AI systems and customer technology platforms.
- Integrate voice AI solutions with systems such as point-of-sale platforms, loyalty systems, payment gateways, and customer data platforms.
- Develop and support voice agents capable of handling real-world customer interactions and transactions.
- Build tooling and technical solutions that bridge customer requirements with existing platform capabilities.
- Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve the performance and reliability of voice AI applications.
- Develop evaluation processes and tools to measure and improve voice AI system performance.
- Identify customer requirements that are not currently supported by the platform and develop prototypes or solutions to demonstrate potential capabilities.
- Work closely with internal research and engineering teams to communicate customer requirements and technical findings.
- Participate in customer meetings and provide technical guidance throughout implementation and deployment.
- Work on-site with customers regularly to identify technical and business challenges before they become escalations.
- Contribute technical insights and solutions developed in customer engagements back into the broader product and platform offering.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy while working as part of a dedicated cross-functional account pod.
- Collaborate with senior Forward-Deployed Engineers to review technical work and ensure solutions are ready for production.
- Help shape future product capabilities based on real-world customer requirements and deployment experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Strong software engineering experience with the ability to build and deploy production-quality solutions.
- Experience working directly with customers, technical stakeholders, or cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work on-site with strategic customers and collaborate closely with their technical and business teams.
- Experience designing and implementing integrations between software platforms and enterprise systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in rapidly changing environments.
- Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar technical environments, systems, and business requirements.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into practical solutions.
- Interest in artificial intelligence, voice technology, and emerging AI applications.
- Comfortable experimenting with new AI models, tools, and development approaches.
- Ability to adapt quickly as technologies, customer requirements, and project priorities evolve.
- Willingness to work with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating closely with internal and customer-facing teams.
