A leading global technology company is advancing autonomous driving through cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning. The organization develops large-scale AI systems powered by one of the world’s largest self-driving datasets and extensive GPU infrastructure, enabling engineers to solve complex real-world data challenges and accelerate the development of autonomous driving technology.

The organization is seeking an AI Engineer, Data Scaling, Self-Driving to develop and optimize large-scale data systems that improve autonomous driving models. This role focuses on leveraging massive real-world datasets, advanced AI techniques, and scalable infrastructure to enhance the performance of self-driving systems.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve data quality, diversity, and scalability while developing innovative solutions that drive advancements in autonomous vehicle technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Improve end-to-end driving policy model performance with a focus on data quantity, quality, and diversity.
  • Research and implement optimal data mixture strategies for both pre-training and post-training.
  • Develop innovative methods for data acquisition, clustering, and data cleaning.
  • Build robust metrics to measure and track model improvements across a wide range of driving scenarios.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data engineering processes and AI model performance.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable data infrastructure supporting autonomous driving initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience building large-scale AI models and managing large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Python with a strong understanding of software engineering best practices.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Strong work ethic with the flexibility to contribute across multiple technical areas.
