The Talent Management & Analytics team is expanding its capabilities by integrating advanced predictive insights and AI into workforce systems. The team develops data solutions designed to support talent acquisition, high-performing organizational structures, employee development, and proactive workforce planning.
As a Staff Data Scientist, the successful candidate will serve as a technical and strategic leader, owning the vision, design, and delivery of high-impact data products used by executives, people partners, and managers. The role focuses on applying predictive analytics, language models, and data science to understand organizational performance, improve talent outcomes, accelerate team effectiveness, and develop proactive retention strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the next phase of talent intelligence by developing predictive frameworks that identify workforce trends and anticipate future organizational needs.
- Architect a unified workforce data model by integrating recruiting systems, performance cycles, surveys, and internal tools into a cohesive employee lifecycle data model.
- Apply AI-native workflows to process, analyze, and summarize unstructured information such as employee exit notes and survey feedback at scale.
- Define and maintain a standardized metrics dictionary and semantic layer for measurements such as headcount, attrition, and workforce trends.
- Establish data access controls and governance frameworks, including role-based access controls and data masking, to protect sensitive personnel information.
- Redesign employee sentiment architecture by developing continuous listening frameworks that provide real-time insights into organizational health and identify leading risk indicators.
- Own the delivery of internal data products and interfaces while collaborating with engineering teams to ensure strong usability, predictive accuracy, and data reliability.
- Apply rigorous statistical standards, including experimental design, A/B testing, and psychometric methodologies, to ensure workforce models and survey frameworks are scientifically sound.
- Partner with stakeholders across people operations, finance, engineering, and organizational leadership to translate workforce challenges into scalable data solutions.
- Provide technical and strategic direction for data science initiatives supporting workforce analytics and organizational decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional data science experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience working with modern data infrastructure such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or dbt.
- Strong product-oriented mindset with experience defining user requirements and collaborating closely with engineering teams.
- Experience taking internal data products or analytics tools from conception through launch.
- Deep understanding of statistics and experimental design.
- Knowledge of psychometrics, survey methodology, or research-backed approaches to organizational measurement.
- Experience integrating language models into data pipelines for large-scale text processing and summarization.
- Strong ability to translate complex organizational problems into actionable data science solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
