The organization is seeking a Senior Data Scientist, Product to support its Growth organization, with a particular focus on premium subscription products. This high-impact role will help answer foundational business and product questions, identify the right customers for subscription offerings, and determine which offers and incentives can improve signups and retention.

The successful candidate will work closely with partners across Product, Marketing, and Finance to prioritize strategic initiatives, evaluate business impact, and influence product strategy. This position provides an opportunity to shape the long-term growth trajectory of a premium financial product through rigorous data analysis, experimentation, and customer insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Growth organization with a focus on premium subscription products.
  • Design and analyze experiments to evaluate new product features, offers, incentives, and campaign strategies.
  • Analyze customer behavior to identify opportunities for improving subscription acquisition, engagement, retention, and value.
  • Develop data-driven insights that inform product targeting, messaging, and growth strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Finance teams to prioritize important initiatives.
  • Measure and communicate the business impact of product and growth initiatives.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations that influence product strategy and roadmap decisions.
  • Apply statistical analysis, experimentation, and modeling techniques to solve complex product and business problems.
  • Contribute to a data-driven culture focused on measurable and sustainable growth.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience working as a Product Data Scientist or in a comparable role.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering closely with product teams to influence product strategy and roadmap decisions.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and modeling.
  • Experience designing experiments and interpreting results to guide product decisions.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Ability to successfully execute projects in a fast-paced and high-performing environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with subscription, recurring-revenue, or membership-based business models.
  • Experience analyzing customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifecycle behavior.
  • Experience applying experimentation and advanced analytics to product growth initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of product analytics and growth strategy.
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
