Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Analytics initiatives and programs.
- Manage onshore and offshore teams across Data Science and Machine Learning.
- Bridge business and technical domains for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage with business and analytics stakeholders to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Lead sales processes and develop solutions for Data Science and Machine Learning opportunities.
- Customize Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Analytics models to address specific industry or functional business challenges.
- Collaborate with strategy, consulting, technology, and other teams throughout sales and delivery processes.
- Develop and strengthen Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence talent within the organization.
- Identify AI use cases by understanding organizational objectives, business needs, and areas for improvement.
- Develop business cases, determine potential return on investment, and create transformation roadmaps for AI initiatives.
- Advise organizations on the adoption of responsible AI solutions and governance practices.
- Support AI adoption by training users on new processes, maintaining solutions, tracking results, and communicating realized business value.
- Build effective teams and foster collaborative and inclusive working environments.
- Develop strong client relationships and contribute to innovative ideas and solutions.
- Travel as needed based on client requirements, with the ability to travel up to 80%.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Advanced Analytics.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience developing decision-based frameworks and models to generate insights and support decision-making.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience serving utilities clients, including electric, gas, or water organizations, or working within utilities finance, controllership, or regulatory functions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Candidates with an Associate’s degree must have at least 6 years of equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering successful AI or Data Science projects and leading high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with AI-native and cloud platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
- Knowledge of agent-based modeling, reinforcement learning, and autonomous systems.
- Familiarity with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience in sales, business development, and solution development.
- Strong program management and verbal and written communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to originate and shape new opportunities, lead client discussions, and contribute to go-to-market activities.
- Excellent leadership and people-management skills, including the ability to build effective teams and foster collaborative and inclusive environments.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
- Experience introducing innovative ideas and approaches to projects.
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
