A leading global organization is seeking an experienced AI and Data Science Product Manager to drive the development and execution of innovative AI/ML product capabilities. Key Responsibilities
- Drive the overarching AI/ML product vision and strategy across classical machine learning and Generative AI products.
- Lead the development of innovative AI capabilities supporting diverse customer and business use cases throughout the customer journey.
- Collaborate with Data Science, Informatics/IT, Commercial Strategy, and other cross-functional teams to develop digital-forward product roadmaps.
- Maintain a prioritized and stack-ranked product backlog aligned with user needs, business value, and enterprise priorities.
- Develop and own comprehensive AI product roadmaps based on user research, market trends, business objectives, and advanced analytics insights.
- Collect and synthesize user feedback, real-world usage data, UAT results, and model performance metrics to inform product requirements.
- Support the ideation, development, launch, and continuous improvement of AI/ML-driven features.
- Develop capabilities that enable next-best actions, intelligent automation, and personalized recommendations.
- Clearly communicate the value, progress, and strategic direction of AI/ML capabilities to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Partner with senior AI and technical delivery leaders to develop business cases for new and enhanced AI/ML product capabilities.
- Identify emerging and unmet customer needs and incorporate AI/ML capabilities into digital platforms to address them.
- Manage external consultants across US and offshore teams to ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and ethical AI solutions.
- Coordinate collaboration across business functions, IT, and enterprise product teams to support integrated execution.
- Promote responsible AI governance and ensure AI solutions align with organizational standards and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, data science, engineering, or a related field.
- 8 years of combined experience in product management, data science, AI, software development, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with modern or classical ML/AI techniques, including Deep Learning, NLP, or Generative AI.
- Proficiency in at least one industry-standard programming language, such as Python, R, Scala, or SQL.
- Experience writing detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs).
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies.
- Experience managing the complete Data Science/AI product lifecycle, from ideation and strategy through market execution and post-launch optimization.
- Proven experience establishing and executing AI/ML product vision and strategy at an enterprise level.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Experience managing complex, multi-unit product roadmaps and integrating AI/ML initiatives across business segments.
- Experience leading high-impact experimentation and using data-driven insights to continuously improve products.
- Experience researching AI/ML industry trends and incorporating relevant developments into product strategies and roadmaps.
- Ability to develop detailed technical product specifications and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, including Kanban and Scrum.
- Ability to encourage innovation and experimentation to improve product capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architectures and solutions, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
- Relevant certifications in product management, machine learning, data science, or related disciplines are advantageous.
