Role Summary

The organization is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own end-to-end execution of platform deployments for enterprise customers. The role will involve scoping high-leverage workflows, configuring agent behavior, validating integrations and guardrails, and driving launches from the first customer conversation through production iteration.

The successful candidate will work directly with stakeholders inside complex SAP environments and help translate customer needs into repeatable platform improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and maintain key agent-building artifacts, including AOPs, integration specifications, evaluation plans, and customer-facing technical documentation.
• Configure agent behavior across planning, tool use, retrieval, prompts, workflows, and operating procedures.
• Configure and validate guardrails so agents operate safely, compliantly, and predictably in real-world enterprise scenarios.
• Apply AI tools hands-on, with clear ideas for using AI across development, testing, data, and support.
• Design the right abstractions for repeatable deployments and partner closely with the Platform team to implement them.
• Take ownership of deployment outcomes and communicate clearly with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Make effective decisions with approximately 80% of the available information.
• Move quickly while maintaining reliability and quality.
• Learn new technology stacks as required and approach complex challenges with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset.

• Has hands-on experience using AI tools and can identify practical applications for AI across development, testing, data, and support.
• Is comfortable working with complex enterprise environments and SAP systems.
• Can configure and evaluate AI agent behavior, workflows, retrieval, prompts, tools, and operating procedures.
• Understands the importance of safety, compliance, and predictable behavior when deploying AI systems in enterprise environments.
• Can design repeatable abstractions and collaborate closely with platform engineering teams.
• Moves quickly without compromising system reliability.
• Is willing to learn unfamiliar technology stacks and approach challenges with a “we will figure it out” mindset.
