Summary
The AI Product Marketing Consultant will lead the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution for developer-focused AI capabilities in SAP Build. This role is highly cross-functional, combining product marketing, developer engagement, and market strategy to drive adoption of next-generation AI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product marketing for developer AI capabilities, including vibe coding, AI-assisted app creation, and generative automation in SAP Build
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to influence roadmap decisions and ensure alignment with market needs
  • Conduct market and customer research to identify AI opportunities, validate use cases, and shape positioning and messaging frameworks
  • Analyze adoption trends, customer feedback, and sales insights to refine go-to-market strategies and support revenue growth
  • Develop compelling value propositions and narratives differentiating SAP’s AI offerings in the developer landscape
  • Collaborate with partner ecosystem to expand adoption across ISVs, SIs, and developer communities
  • Support analyst relations with product briefings, competitive insights, and market messaging
  • Review marketing assets including demos, technical content, solution briefs, and thought leadership for accuracy and consistency
  • Deliver presentations for field enablement, partner programs, and customer-facing events
  • Contribute to pricing, packaging, and commercialization decisions for AI capabilities within SAP BTP

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years in product marketing, product management, developer advocacy, or related roles (experience with AI or developer tools preferred)
  • Strong understanding of AI market trends, developer tooling, AppDev platforms, and enterprise AI strategy
  • Experience supporting B2B sales cycles, engaging technical audiences, and developing customer-facing assets
  • Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and acquire deep expertise in emerging technologies
  • Strong commitment to quality and customer-centric thinking

Preferred Skills

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and executive audiences
  • Experience identifying customer needs, shaping product requirements, and driving cross-functional alignment
  • Proven collaboration in international, matrixed environments
  • Willingness to travel globally as required

Note: This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week in the Palo Alto office.
