Position Summary
The Data Science Manager will lead the design, development, and deployment of AI and GenAI solutions across multiple industries. This role combines technical expertise, strategic leadership, and client engagement to deliver innovative data science solutions. The manager will oversee technical delivery, mentor team members, and guide clients in leveraging AI to address real-world business problems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and management of a team delivering AI and GenAI solutions
  • Define technical strategy, project roadmap, and prototyping for client-specific AI/ML solutions
  • Support identification of high-value AI opportunities and communicate AI strategy to clients
  • Guide clients on AI adoption, exploratory data analysis (EDA), model building, validation, and deployment
  • Oversee predictive and generative AI initiatives, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and compliance with AI standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of data scientists, engineers, and solution architects to achieve delivery objectives
  • Research and implement best practices for model validation, deployment, testing, and code review
  • Present technical findings and deployment options to key stakeholders
  • Mentor, motivate, and coach junior data scientists on technical best practices
  • Develop leadership and delivery skills to grow into senior technical or non-technical management roles

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in AI/ML, including computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), time-series analysis, and graph neural networks
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and quality of work product
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience leading projects or workstreams and mentoring junior team members
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to build and sustain professional relationships and meet deadlines
