Company Overview
A leading global consulting organization is seeking a Databricks Manager to help clients design, build, and deliver modern data and analytics platforms. The company partners with organizations across industries to implement scalable cloud-based data solutions, optimize analytics capabilities, and support decision-making through advanced data engineering and platform expertise.

Position Summary
The Databricks Manager will lead the design, implementation, and delivery of Databricks-based data and analytics solutions for client engagements. This role requires translating business requirements into scalable data pipelines, models, and platform capabilities while managing project teams and advising stakeholders on architecture and implementation strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of Databricks-based data and analytics solutions across client projects
  • Manage project teams and workstreams, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable data pipelines, data models, and platform capabilities
  • Advise client stakeholders on architecture, implementation approaches, and operating model considerations for modern data platforms
  • Oversee solution quality, resolve issues, and monitor delivery progress while supporting project economics and timelines
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure enterprise-scale, cloud-enabled solutions are implemented effectively

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6+ years of experience delivering data engineering, analytics, or cloud data platform solutions
  • 3+ years of experience with Databricks and Apache Spark
  • 3+ years of experience with Python and SQL
  • 2+ years of experience leading project teams or workstreams
  • Ability to travel up to 50% based on project and client needs
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, or MLflow
  • Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP
  • Designing batch and streaming data pipelines
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, or platform security controls
  • Experience supporting client presentations, proposals, or solution demonstrations
