A global technology and consulting organization is seeking a Business Data Analyst for its AI & Engineering Data and Analytics practice. Summary
The Business Data Analyst will collaborate with clients and internal teams to translate business needs into actionable analytics solutions. This role involves performing data analysis, creating dashboards, supporting project delivery, and enabling insights to inform strategic and operational decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document analytics requirements, including problem statements, assumptions, and success metrics/KPIs
  • Translate requirements into Agile/SAFe-ready work items, including epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria; support sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis and quick-turn reporting, building lightweight dashboards in Tableau or Power BI when needed
  • Collaborate with BI/reporting developers to industrialize high-usage reporting solutions
  • Support recurring analyses and reports (weekly/biweekly/monthly), validate outputs, and maintain runbooks
  • Coordinate and support UAT, release, and change activities, including dependency tracking, risk management, and stakeholder communication
  • Communicate regularly with project leadership and cross-functional teams, escalating matters requiring attention from engagement management

Team Overview
The AI & Engineering practice leverages advanced engineering and analytics capabilities to build, deploy, and operate integrated solutions in software, data, AI, networks, and hybrid cloud platforms. The team supports clients in modernizing technology and data platforms, delivering scalable and impactful solutions that enhance business operations and outcomes.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 4+ years of analytics and data experience, including SQL proficiency, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to frame ambiguous questions
  • 4+ years of experience with BI tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI, including report/dashboard development and understanding of KPI definitions
  • Structured storytelling skills for clear presentations (PPT)
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms/warehouses (e.g., Snowflake)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as required

Preferred:

  • Stakeholder management skills, including clear communication and prioritization of ad-hoc requests
  • Ability to operate independently or with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
