Summary
The Director of Data & Digital Enablement will lead the North American data and digital strategy, ensuring compliant, scalable, and reliable data solutions. This role will modernize integration frameworks, deliver trusted data products, and collaborate across Commercial, Patient Services, Medical, Compliance, and Corporate IT teams to drive measurable business outcomes.

Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies

  • Own and deliver an enterprise-trusted data foundation and analytics-ready data products
  • Define and govern integration patterns across CRM systems (e.g., Veeva), Salesforce Clouds, MDM, Data Warehouse/Lakehouse
  • Drive a Health Cloud roadmap addressing Patient Services needs and scalable architecture
  • Lead architecture for omnichannel essentials including Preference Center, identity resolution, and site tagging/telemetry
  • Establish a single intake process for business requests, design reviews, change control, and vendor governance
  • Lead North American commercial tech stack including One Analytics, Salesforce Health Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and OneTrust
  • Execute the Ipsen Patient Hub roadmap in partnership with Value & Access/Patient Services
  • Partner with Data Strategy & Analytics to operationalize KPIs, dashboards, and service levels
  • Oversee program management with updates, reporting, and communications to NA and global leadership
  • Collaborate with Corporate IT and Security to deploy global tools/services meeting NA business needs
  • Provide leadership across internal teams and external vendors, ensuring effective prioritization and delivery
  • Manage budget responsibility for NA commercial data and omnichannel platforms

Knowledge & Experience (Required)

  • 15 years in data management and business/data architecture with cross-functional delivery experience
  • 10+ years modernizing cloud data platforms and operationalizing KPIs
  • Strong knowledge of biopharma data assets (claims, SP, syndicated data, CRM, digital/omni)
  • Experience establishing pharma commercial business/data architecture and integration patterns
  • Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical/biotechnology value chain and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication with senior leadership and business/financial acumen
  • Knowledge of emerging data and AI trends

Technical & Functional Competencies

  • Cloud/Data Platforms: AWS (S3, Glue), Snowflake/Redshift, Databricks; Airflow; Python/SQL
  • Salesforce Ecosystem: Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud; CRM integration (e.g., Veeva)
  • BI & Semantics: Tableau or Power BI; semantic layers, certified datasets, governed metrics
  • Data Governance & Quality: Catalog, lineage, privacy, change control in regulated environments
  • Biopharma Data Expertise: Claims, SP/SD, syndicated datasets, CRM, and digital/omnichannel data
  • Workflow & Processing: Scaling workflows in Patient Services/Market Access contexts
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Leadership: Cross-functional leadership, vendor performance management

Knowledge & Experience (Preferred)

  • Leadership in vendor governance and large-scale transformation initiatives

Education / Certifications (Essential)

  • BA/BS in a technical or analytical field

Education / Certifications (Preferred)

  • Master’s or MBA in technical, data, or business disciplines
