A global commercial data solutions organization is seeking an Associate Director for Data Product Management to lead the development and execution of digital data products that enable data-driven decision-making. The organization partners with commercial divisions across industries to deliver advanced analytics, AI-driven insights, and technology-enabled solutions for global stakeholders, helping organizations optimize performance and innovation through data.

Summary
The Associate Director, Data Product Management, will lead digital product management capabilities within the commercial data solutions team, shaping and delivering impactful data products. This role requires a techno-functional expert with strong leadership skills, capable of managing portfolios of initiatives, guiding cross-functional teams, and ensuring data products are innovative, agile, and Gen AI ready.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to manage the full lifecycle of digital data products, from use case identification and discovery to development and maintenance
  • Translate business and stakeholder use cases into actionable implementation roadmaps
  • Establish performance expectations and processes for data product owners, data analysts, and scrum masters
  • Shape the vision, strategy, and roadmap for domain-level analytics-ready datasets
  • Execute large-scale multi-country program rollouts involving cross-divisional and market stakeholders
  • Apply strategic thinking, risk management, and roadmap planning for ongoing data product evolution
  • Ensure implementation of Agile principles and best practices, adapting to evolving business needs and user feedback
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key vendor partners to ensure high-quality deliverables and ROI optimization
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviors, including cross-functional collaboration, assertiveness, decision-making, active listening, and strategic thinking
  • Incorporate AI/Gen AI strategies to optimize data product development processes and ensure products are Gen AI ready from the outset

Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in data and analytics solutions, including technical understanding of tools and architecture
  • Strong experience building data products and capabilities using Agile methodology
  • Deep knowledge of digital and marketing data domains in the commercial biopharma space (required)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish credibility and trust with stakeholders
  • Proven problem-solving skills in diverse, global, matrix organizations across time zones
  • Experience managing portfolios, tracking performance, and handling risks, issues, and escalations
  • Knowledge of data analysis, analytics use cases, and capabilities
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and Scrum execution
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to navigate complex teams and highly-matrixed environments

Preferred

  • Analytics experience in commercial insights generation within the biopharma industry
