Company Overview
A leading healthcare and finance organization is seeking a Principal Analyst to drive innovation through Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions. The organization focuses on data-driven insights to improve patient outcomes, financial sustainability, and operational efficiency across clinical and financial initiatives.

Summary
The Principal Analyst will design, develop, and implement AI and ML solutions to support strategic decision-making and value creation. This role involves building prototypes, scalable models, robotic process automation, and visualization platforms to provide actionable insights across healthcare and finance operations.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions to support clinical and financial initiatives
  • Develop visualization platforms and dashboards for data-driven decision-making
  • Establish analytics support for value-based care, patient reported outcome measures, capitation payment models, population health management, and Electronic Health Records (EHR) integration
  • Lead commissioned analytics projects to deliver insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and regional health stakeholders
  • Provide technical advisory and training on analytics tools to institutional teams
  • Assist with additional projects to advance the organization’s healthcare transformation objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or other quantitative disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 years technical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Experience in the healthcare or finance industry is preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial/statistical modeling, machine learning, data mining, and related techniques
  • Technical expertise in data wrangling, preparation, and building visualization dashboards (Tableau, Qlik Sense, Power BI)
  • Proficiency in UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, or other AI automation applications
  • Experience with OpenAI, Databricks is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
