About the Team
The Knowledge Platform team is central to the company’s data and AI strategy, building foundational infrastructure to empower the organization to leverage data, AI, and ML effectively. The team manages the full data and AI/ML lifecycle, including infrastructure (Databricks, Spark, Kafka), serving technology (RAG, MCP), and AI/ML model governance. The 2026 mission is to evolve the full data ecosystem into an AI agent-ready infrastructure, enabling analytics, natural language querying, and real-time decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee strategy, architecture, development, and operation of company-wide data and AI platforms
  • Provide visionary technical direction and actively solve complex challenges hands-on
  • Advocate for best practices, promoting craftsmanship and innovation across the data platform
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performing, innovative culture
  • Lead company-wide initiatives using advanced data platform solutions
  • Influence technical roadmaps, collaborating with diverse teams to drive measurable business outcomes
  • Balance execution speed with research, statistical rigor, and scalable design
  • Build, deploy, and maintain reliable multi-geographical data pipelines at scale
  • Work with ETL frameworks, metrics stores, infrastructure management, and data security

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Data Platform or equivalent academic/work experience in a quantitative field
  • Proven experience leading cross-team initiatives or influencing technical roadmap planning
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across diverse stakeholders
  • Mentorship and team development experience for engineers, scientists, or peers
  • Proficiency in workflow/orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, DBT

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience designing data processing patterns for modern Lakehouse architectures
  • Experience developing high-performance services and client libraries using GCP, Databricks, BigQuery, DataProc, Kafka, Kubernetes, Spark, DataFlow, Google Cloud Storage, and Airflow
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
  • Ability to rapidly evaluate technologies and conduct proof-of-concept experiments
  • Experience thriving in complex and fast-paced technical environments
