A leading healthcare organization is seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to drive innovative AI initiatives. Summary
The AI Engineer will serve as a hands-on technical leader, guiding AI engineering teams in developing advanced agentic AI frameworks. This role combines technical expertise with mentorship, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and robust AI solutions while supporting team growth and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of AI Engineers, enforcing architectural best practices, coding standards, and engineering excellence
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex AI agent components, Generative AI integrations, and supporting infrastructure
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to refine technical requirements, estimate efforts, and ensure timely delivery of AI features
  • Establish and enforce rigorous code review processes to maintain code quality, security, and maintainability
  • Serve as the primary technical escalation point, troubleshooting complex issues and guiding resolutions
  • Actively mentor AI Engineers, fostering technical skill growth and understanding of agentic architectures
  • Evaluate and assess new tools, libraries, and frameworks to enhance team efficiency and capabilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field
  • 1–3+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience developing agentic AI solutions, with knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proven experience in the technical design and implementation of complex AI agent components
  • Hands-on expertise designing AI agents using Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and fine-tuning techniques
  • Experience managing AI model performance, scalability, and reliability in production
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience conducting code reviews, leading knowledge-sharing sessions, and making critical technology decisions

Preferred / Standout Skills

  • Linux/Unix scripting experience
  • Multi-cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Solution Architect Associate certifications, preferably GCP or AWS

Minimum Education Requirements
High school degree or equivalent, unless otherwise noted above
