Summary
The Data Solutions Engineer will articulate and champion the company’s approach to data and its impact on business results for MedTech customers. This customer-facing role spans pre- and post-sales interactions, helping prospects overcome data challenges and enabling customers to realize the value of the platform for their teams.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and explain the platform’s approach to core data, data quality, and algorithms to prospects
  • Articulate how data products contribute to critical functionality and support the business case
  • Collaborate with prospects and customers to define business requirements related to data or algorithms
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all data-related questions from prospects
  • Maintain deep expertise in the platform’s functionality, underlying data, and business case
  • Work with sales and product teams to uncover and address business and data challenges in pre-sales
  • Support the implementations team as a subject matter expert in using healthcare data (e.g., medical claims) for targeting strategies
  • Collaborate with product and product marketing teams to refine messaging and inform the product roadmap

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a healthcare data subject matter expert in consulting, sales engineering, account management, or similar customer-facing roles
  • Deep understanding of medical claims and healthcare datasets
  • Strong passion for leveraging data and algorithms to drive MedTech commercial effectiveness
  • Ability to craft and deliver tailored data-centric or technical presentations
  • Executive-level communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High empathy for customer needs and strong interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and enabling customers to use data effectively

Nice to Haves

  • Experience managing or selling enterprise SaaS, healthcare data, or consulting projects
  • Proficiency in Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools for customer-facing reports
  • SQL or equivalent skills to analyze and understand healthcare datasets
