Summary
The Senior Manager will lead AI & Data initiatives for clients in Banking (retail, SME, wholesale, and wealth) or Insurance (Life & General Insurance), helping organizations transform operations through analytics, machine learning, and strategic insights. This role involves problem-solving at both strategic and tactical levels, managing project teams, and ensuring delivery of high-quality client solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals within Financial Services
  • Lead opportunity management, including RFI/RFP processes, solution design, budgeting, and account planning
  • Oversee project delivery, manage project teams, and ensure project P&L oversight
  • Provide subject matter expertise in banking and insurance industry trends, regulations, and best practices
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering professional growth and development
  • Conduct research, data analysis, and prepare reports to inform client recommendations
  • Facilitate client workshops and assessments to develop future-state designs and implementation plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, technology experts, and business development to deliver comprehensive client solutions
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, market trends, and regulatory changes affecting the Financial Services sector
  • Utilize AI, machine learning, and large language models (LLMs) to design innovative data-driven solutions
  • Drive operational excellence, efficiency improvements, and digital enablement initiatives across client organizations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • 8–10 years of consulting experience within the Financial Services sector
  • Hands-on experience with AI, machine learning, and analytics tools, including ML libraries, LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Bard), and ML workbenches (PIVOTAL Cloudera, MS Azure, NVIDIA Omniverse)
  • Strong foundation in data management, governance, and ML Ops
  • Expertise in banking or insurance analytics, including customer 360, fraud/compliance, operational productivity, claims processing, and sales/distribution analytics
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, R, Scala)
  • Relevant certifications in Cloud, AI, or Machine Learning preferred
  • Regional Financial Services experience across Southeast Asia is a plus
  • Strong client engagement, communication, and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel locally and abroad as required
