Summary
The Senior Consultant will contribute to the Artificial Intelligence & Data team by designing, implementing, and delivering data and analytics solutions that provide actionable insights for clients. The role involves applying advanced technologies to support business decision-making, developing data structures, and integrating analytical models to optimize organizational outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data structures for Big Data, analytical models, and BI/DW reporting solutions using technologies such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, SAP, Cloudera, IBM Watson, MuleSoft, Qlik, or Informatica
• Build and manage data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Big Data technologies like Spark, Hive, Pig, Kafka, MapReduce, HBase, Sqoop, Flume, or Storm
• Apply analytical models to predict business outcomes using tools such as DataRobot and programming languages like Python, Scala, or R
• Design and develop data integration solutions with Data Governance, Data Quality, MDM, and Metadata management
• Collaborate with clients to link industry-specific requirements to BI, Analytics, and Big Data solutions
• Advise on BI/DW/Analytics processes, governance, platform models, tool selection, and data integration options
• Manage projects across all phases including strategy, scoping, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, training, and deployment
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are practical, innovative, and aligned with client objectives
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, disruptive trends, and potential improvement opportunities

Leadership Responsibilities

• Act as a strong brand ambassador and share knowledge with colleagues
• Build productive relationships with stakeholders, understanding their goals and aligning team efforts
• Collaborate effectively, hold accountability for results, and motivate teams through recognition of individual strengths and contributions
• Provide insights that support strategic decisions and demonstrate confidence in project execution

Qualifications

• Good honors degree, preferably at postgraduate level, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines
• Minimum 4 years (Consultant) or 6 years (Senior Consultant) of relevant experience in a Big 4, MNC Consulting firm, or equivalent
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Scala, Python, or R
• Experience with non-relational data stores such as Pivotal, Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR, or Oracle BDA
• Experience with relational data stores such as SQL, Oracle DB, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM Netezza, Teradata, or MySQL
• Experience with cloud Data Engineering and Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and Shell scripting
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Client-focused, results-oriented, and able to work under tight project timelines
