Summary
The Lead Data Scientist will provide strategic leadership in data analysis, algorithm development, and AI/ML testing and evaluation (T&E). This role focuses on delivering actionable insights to national security customers and guiding the development, testing, and deployment of AI solutions in real-world applications.

Responsibilities

  • Define goals and expectations for algorithm T&E performance
  • Research AI data splitting, metrics, and T&E methodology
  • Lead strategy and coordination with algorithm development vendors
  • Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and vendors to present concepts, analyses, and test results
  • Recommend solutions and paths forward for complex data problems
  • Work with internal teams to transition algorithms into software applications and real-time embedded systems

Qualifications

  • U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED with an active Top Secret Security Clearance and SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Physical or Biological Sciences, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Data Science, AI, or Machine Learning
  • Expertise in AI, machine learning, and data science principles
  • Experience in algorithm development, testing, and evaluation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with a driven attitude
  • Ability to work onsite 4–5 days per week
