Summary
The Presales Solution Architect will support enterprise and public sector engagements in Singapore, designing scalable, secure, and compliant cloud solutions. The role requires strong expertise in multi-cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure and AWS, with knowledge of Huawei Cloud advantageous. The candidate will translate business and technical requirements into architecture designs, contribute to technical proposals, and engage with customers throughout the presales lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Engage customers to understand business objectives, technical challenges, and compliance requirements
Conduct technical discovery workshops, solution walkthroughs, and architecture presentations
Collaborate with account and sales teams to support sales pursuits, proposals, and RFP responses
Provide technical leadership throughout the presales lifecycle, from opportunity qualification to proposal submission
Design end-to-end cloud architectures across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Huawei Cloud
Develop solutions for cloud migration initiatives, hybrid cloud deployments, multi-cloud environments, and application modernization
Document cloud landing zones, networking, identity management, and security architectures
Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and follow industry and cloud provider best practices
Align architectures with Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) requirements and comply with IM8 guidelines, MTCS requirements, and data protection principles
Support security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and compliance discussions with stakeholders
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or solution design
3+ years of experience in presales or customer-facing architecture roles
Proven experience delivering cloud solutions for enterprise and/or government sector clients in Singapore
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
Hands-on experience in at least two of the following cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Huawei Cloud (working knowledge preferred)
Experience designing high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery solutions
Ability to conduct technical workshops, deep dives, and solution discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience preparing technical proposals, architecture documents, and cost estimates
Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
