Summary
The Cloud Infra Engineer will plan, execute, monitor, and control various technical aspects of projects, including new setups or upgrades of system and network infrastructure. The role involves supporting operational systems, ensuring adherence to contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs), performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, monitor, and control technical aspects of projects
  • Manage or participate in new setup or upgrade of system/network infrastructure projects
  • Support operational systems to meet SLA requirements
  • Perform and manage routine preventive maintenance and operational activities
  • Provide project documentation and reports
  • Diagnose and rectify technical issues
  • Collaborate with teams to implement and integrate products to build enterprise cloud systems

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Windows Server OS and Linux OS in virtual environments
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization and hypervisors, Nutanix platform preferred
  • Understanding of VPN, firewall appliances, and network switches/routers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Pro-active, dynamic, with strong analytical and conceptual thinking
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
