Summary
The Assistant Principal Engineer will contribute to projects involving cloud and data center solutions, ensuring technical excellence, timely delivery, and alignment with business objectives. This role requires a proactive approach, strong technical knowledge, and effective communication skills for managing internal teams and client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Define project goals and scope
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
  • Plan, document, and track project tasks, adjusting plans as necessary
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on-time and meet quality standards
  • Manage project resources effectively
  • Oversee changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques
  • Understand and explore customer business challenges and requirements
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, JIRA, Trello)
  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
