A leading professional services organization is looking for a Senior Manager to join its Data and Analytics Engineering team focused on healthcare. Summary
The Applied AI Health Data Architect – Senior Manager will design, implement, and oversee data architecture strategies to enhance healthcare operations. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to influence key stakeholders while mentoring high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute strategic data architecture initiatives for healthcare operations
  • Influence and engage key stakeholders to align on innovative data solutions
  • Develop, mentor, and manage teams focused on operational and technical excellence
  • Analyze and address evolving needs within health systems through data insights
  • Lead initiatives that improve healthcare operations through robust data management
  • Foster collaboration and open communication among teams
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and data standards
  • Drive continuous strategic improvements in data architecture to support organizational goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience with EMR back-end databases preferred
  • Familiarity with HL7 v2, FHIR R4, and interoperability standards
  • Proven track record in architecting data solutions for healthcare programs
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and PHI data handling requirements
  • Ability to bridge clinical, operational, and technical conversations
  • Experience with healthcare-specific integration engines and middleware
  • Applying Gen AI techniques to healthcare use cases is a plus
  • Proficiency in Python or SQL for data transformation
  • Understanding of data architecture’s role in quality reporting
