A leading global professional services firm is seeking a Cloud Data & Analytics Strategy Senior Associate to help clients across the insurance sector leverage data, analytics, and cloud technologies to drive business transformation. The firm focuses on combining technical expertise, strategy, and innovation to deliver impactful insights, optimize operations, and support enterprise-level decision-making for complex organizations.

Summary
The Senior Associate will work as part of a team to help clients align their data and analytics strategies with business objectives. This role involves developing and implementing cloud-based solutions, modern data architectures, and analytics platforms to optimize decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and drive business growth within the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in defining data strategies aligned with business objectives and cloud adoption
  • Recommend and implement modern cloud data platforms using providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, or Teradata
  • Design, implement, and optimize cloud-based data architectures and integration patterns
  • Develop and operationalize AI/ML and advanced analytics solutions using ML Ops principles
  • Conduct analytics strategy refreshes and support transformation projects
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate into actionable cloud and analytics solutions
  • Apply knowledge of data governance, master data management, and enterprise data warehouse concepts
  • Analyze complex datasets using SQL, Python, Spark, and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Cognos)
  • Apply best practices for scalable, high-availability, and process-intensive data solutions
  • Support team development, providing coaching, feedback, and guidance to colleagues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in data, analytics, or consulting roles
  • Preferred certification in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong understanding of modern cloud architectures and engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, and big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
  • Knowledge of insurance data, KPIs, and industry practices (P&C/L&A Insurance preferred)
  • Experience in strategy-to-execution consulting projects within analytics or technology domains
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, prioritizing multiple tasks effectively
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching and mentoring team members
