Job Description
The Wholesale Banking function provides financial services and solutions to help clients achieve strategic business objectives. Coverage teams work closely with specialized units across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets, and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to clients, including small and medium enterprises, large corporations, financial institutions, and multinational corporations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale data analytics projects within the corporate banking space, focusing on driving business impact, particularly in AFC/AML areas
  • Analyze, integrate, and manage both structured and unstructured datasets to develop actionable insights
  • Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models to generate insights for business decision-making, with emphasis on AFC/AML functions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics solutions with business goals
  • Communicate insights effectively to stakeholders across all levels

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of solid experience in data analytics with hands-on expertise in Python, R, or other programming languages
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik or Power BI is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of the financial industry
  • Consulting experience is advantageous
  • Knowledge of business processes such as KYC, Name Screening, and Transaction Monitoring is preferred
  • Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and effective communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
