Job Description
The Innovation Group serves as the centralized innovation, data, and science function within the bank, driving rapid adoption of analytics and innovation across business units. AI Labs focuses on high strategic value product research and development, emphasizing enterprise-level coverage, product monetization, and capability performance to achieve project delivery goals.

As a core member of AI Labs, you will work on building impactful and innovative solutions to real-world challenges. Current focus areas include Voice-to-Text, LLM-based Analytics, GenAI Agents, Portfolio Management, and Forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business/technology units to evaluate, design, and deliver business-motivated products and capabilities
• Develop and execute products and strategic plans aligned with project and business objectives
• Conduct research, experimentation, and agile prototyping to develop high-performance AI capabilities
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies, industry best practices, architectures, software resources, and paradigms
• Manage stakeholder interactions and expectations effectively
• Provide expert advisory on data science to diverse stakeholders

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; AI-related thesis/publications highly preferred
• Minimum 5 years of advanced data science experience, preferably in research, engineering, banking, financial services, quantitative analysis, or consulting
• Demonstrated success in solving highly complex business or academic problems using rigorous, data-driven approaches
• Self-motivated team player with ability to innovate and work independently
• Minimum 1.5 years of full-time experience in end-to-end AI capability or product research and development with demonstrable achievements
• Strong expertise in Deep Learning required; experience with Reinforcement Learning, Causal Inferencing, Probabilistic Bayesian, and advanced Econometric Modeling highly preferred
• Expertise in GenAI topics such as LLMs and Multimodal Language Models preferred
• Proficiency in Python programming and handling large datasets; skilled with data science libraries such as PyTorch
• Experience in end-to-end data science solution delivery and various analytics tools
• Strong communication skills to convey analytic findings effectively to business stakeholders
• Knowledge of agile project management practices
• Experience with data visualization tools is a plus
