Company Overview
A global professional services organization is seeking a Data Architect to support enterprise-scale Data & AI initiatives. The organization partners with public sector clients to design and implement scalable, secure, and insight-driven data solutions, enabling digital transformation and operational excellence across complex environments.

About the Role
The Data Architect will play a key role in shaping enterprise-scale data solutions for large public sector organizations. This includes defining data structures, architecture standards, and integration patterns that enable secure, scalable, and insight-driven applications supporting mission-critical outcomes. The role requires collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and the ability to influence technology decisions across complex programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end data architecture, including data models, storage, access, and integration patterns
  • Translate business and application requirements into robust, scalable data designs
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing advisory input and influencing architectural decisions across teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with business objectives and governance standards
  • Establish and implement best practices for data management, data quality, and data governance
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation covering data architecture, standards, and processes
  • Conduct regular reviews and enhancements of data models to support evolving requirements
  • Mentor and support team members on data architecture principles and best practices

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience in data architecture within large-scale, enterprise environments
  • Proven expertise in Data & AI strategy and its application to real-world business challenges
  • Deep understanding of data architecture principles, data access patterns, and data taxonomy
  • Experience working across multiple teams and influencing technical and design decisions
  • Ability to design solutions that scale across programs and organizational boundaries
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data governance frameworks and regulatory-driven environments
  • Background in public sector, defence, or public safety programs
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and cloud-based architectures
