Your Opportunity Starts Here
The Solution Architect – Treasury and Securities will design and implement innovative technology solutions across Treasury and Securities functions. This role involves shaping low-latency, high-integrity platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring enterprise architecture alignment to transform the way financial services are delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead front-to-back architecture for Treasury and Securities across front office, risk, operations, finance/ledger, and digital asset businesses, including FX, MM, fixed income, derivatives, ALM, funding & liquidity, hedge accounting, and securities trading.
  • Architect resilient platforms integrating pricing, risk, position-keeping, order management, market connectivity, confirmations/settlements, collateral, clearing, custody, and regulatory reporting for retail and institutional clients.
  • Define and deliver the bank’s target state architecture covering trade capture, order/execution workflows, pricing services, market data ingestion, risk analytics, settlement, clearing, custody, and integration with core banking, finance, and payments.
  • Establish reference architectures for low-latency trading channels, exchange connectivity, FIX/FAST protocols, market gateways, and STP processing.
  • Produce detailed solution artefacts including trade & market-data models, sequence diagrams, deployment topologies, resilience/run-books, and non-functional requirements (NFRs).
  • Define and evolve architecture and integration patterns for market data, pricing/risk, P&L explain, confirmations/settlements, collateral/margin, limits/controls, and accounting/GL.
  • Provide deep Treasury domain expertise across asset classes, pricing and valuation, position management, market & liquidity risk, ALM/FTP, hedge accounting, securities trading, low-latency order flows, post-trade processing, and trade reporting.
  • Engage hands-on with delivery teams and business users to ensure solutions adhere to design, data quality, resiliency, and cost best practices.
  • Identify and manage architecture deviations and technical debt resolutions to Architecture/Platforms forums.

Qualifications

  • Preferably 7+ years in enterprise/solutions architecture and cloud-native technologies including microservices, Kubernetes, Kafka/MQ, Redis, and databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and infrastructure setup.
  • Experience with low-latency, high-reliability systems, market-data integration, FO-to-BO/STP processing; familiarity with Treasury vendor platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels.
  • Proven ability to define architectures, lead projects independently, and drive adoption of best practices.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills; proactive and resourceful.
  • Experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, Payments, or Core Banking domains is an advantage.
