Job Description

As consumer demand for local services continues to grow, the Data Science team plays a critical role in supporting the expansion of local services through data-driven insights and innovative problem-solving. This role involves conducting in-depth analyses to enhance user experiences, optimize business performance, and identify actionable improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Leading and executing data analysis projects to support business decisions for local services.
2. Analyzing user traffic, merchant activities, content ecosystems, and platform strategies to uncover potential improvement opportunities.
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement A/B experiments or observational studies, ensuring scientific decision-making and iterative optimization.
4. Identifying pain points in business operations, proposing actionable recommendations, and driving tangible improvements in operational efficiency and business performance.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a preferred background in local services, e-commerce, short videos, statistics, computer science, economics, or quantitative analysis.
2. Proficiency in SQL and experience using R, Python, or similar programming languages.
3. Strong data sensitivity, with the ability to connect data to business insights and apply quantitative reasoning.
4. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
5. Adaptability and a proactive approach to growing with the business during its early stages, contributing to a shared sense of achievement.
