Job Description

As an IT Audit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization’s IT assets and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will lead a team of skilled auditors to assess the effectiveness of our internal controls, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend improvements to enhance our overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Audit Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive IT audit plans, aligning with organizational goals and risk assessments.
• Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, prioritizing audit efforts accordingly.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements.
• Control Testing and Evaluation: Design and execute control tests to assess the effectiveness of IT controls, including access controls, change management, incident response, and data privacy.
• Security Audits: Perform security audits to evaluate the organization’s security posture, identify weaknesses, and recommend enhancements.
• Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
• Audit Reporting: Prepare clear and concise audit reports, highlighting findings, recommendations, and action plans.
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with management, technical teams, and external auditors to build strong relationships and drive corrective actions.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT auditors, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in IT auditing.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001).
• Proven experience in conducting security assessments and vulnerability scans.
• Knowledge of industry-standard auditing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Certification(s) such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or other relevant certifications.
