Job Description:
As a Lead Data Scientist, you will drive and manage data science projects from start to finish, applying your expertise in statistics, modeling, machine learning, and data mining. This role requires strategic collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and ensure data quality, security, and measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead data science projects from inception to deployment, collaborating with stakeholders to align on objectives and leverage data.
• Oversee AI system design, risk management, and compliance, ensuring quality and governance.
• Design and implement data science strategies and experiments to drive measurable business results.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models, selecting optimal models based on quality metrics.
• Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, promoting data literacy within the organization.
• Adhere to ethical AI principles (FATTER AI) and work with CD4ML practices and data versioning tools.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in statistical modeling, machine learning, deep learning, and optimization.
• Expertise in R, Python, or equivalent data analysis tools, with experience writing production-ready code.
• Specialized knowledge in at least one area of AI, such as NLP, computer vision, or generative AI.
• Strong data preprocessing and analysis capabilities, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and ethical AI standards.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities, liaising between clients and teams.
• Adaptable in ambiguous situations and skilled in managing risks and conflicts.
• Proven leadership in mentoring and motivating teams, advocating for technical excellence.
