Job Description

The Information Security and Compliance team  is seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Engineer to join our team. This role will be instrumental in securing our modern computing infrastructure, including containers, virtual machines, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for IaaS, PaaS, and on-prem environments.
• Secure container orchestration and containerized applications and workloads.
• Collaborate with software and IT teams to establish secure technology practices.
• Develop security engineering standards and guides.
• Create technical diagrams to define system integrations and architecture.
• Develop automation to integrate security tools and improve user efficiency.
• Evaluate commercial and open-source network security tools and services.
• Understand and explain technical details of vulnerability disclosures.
• Independently handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
• Lead and mentor other technical team members.

Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering roles creating security solutions.
• Multiple certifications in cloud architecture and cloud security (e.g., GIAC, AWS).
• Deep understanding of security concepts for private and public cloud environments.
• Experience with container orchestration and containerized applications.
• Proficiency in scripting and data languages (Python, Bash, JSON, etc.).
• Knowledge of common data and network protocols (XML, HTTP, TLS, DNS, SSH, MQTT, etc.).
• Experience with security testing and assessment tools.
• Strong understanding of public keys, certificates, and authentication concepts.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
