Senior Data Analyst, Sustainability

Role Overview

As a Senior Data Analyst within the Asia Pacific sustainability team, this role focuses on supporting sustainability-related data systems, analytics, and insights. The position’s primary objective is to assist investment professionals with decarbonization plans and asset-level sustainability performance improvements, working closely with a data administrator.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Strategy & Change Management
   • Collaborate with global and regional teams to implement the global data strategy, providing best practices for sustainability data management.
   • Identify business challenges, propose data-driven solutions, and develop change management strategies for smooth process transitions.
2. Data Quality & Integrity
   • Direct the data administrator and consultants to ensure timely, accurate, and comprehensive data collection, with the support of senior ESG leaders.
   • Establish data governance through a systematic and clear RACI matrix.
3. Data Visualization, Analytics & Insights
   • Utilize statistical techniques and visualization tools to analyze datasets, uncover insights, and communicate complex data findings through interactive charts, graphs, and dashboards.
4. Data Modeling & Forecasting
   • Develop models to predict future trends and outcomes, applying statistical and machine learning methods to create predictive models.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Strong understanding of real estate sector sustainability metrics (energy, water, waste data) and knowledge of reporting standards like GRESB.
• Advanced skills in data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau), statistical software (Excel, SPSS, SAS), and analysis languages (SQL, Python, R).
• Degree in Engineering, Science, Real Estate, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics, with relevant experience in data analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, proactive and creative mindset, and strong communication abilities.
• Accountability for tasks and peer leadership qualities.
