Role Summary
As a Machine Learning Engineer specializing in Search and Natural Language Processing (NLP), you will contribute to the development and innovation of search algorithms, using cutting-edge machine learning techniques to enhance user experience. You will be involved in research and development for both international short-video search engines and related services such as e-commerce and life services. Key areas of focus include NLP, multi-modal learning, and personalized search systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Search Engine R&D: Contribute to the development of international short-video search engines using machine learning algorithms and large-scale data.
• NLP Technologies: Work on advanced NLP tasks such as word segmentation, Named Entity Recognition (NER), query analysis, and deep learning-based models.
• Cross-Modal Matching: Apply Computer Vision (CV) and NLP deep learning technologies to improve search capabilities, including video content understanding and visual representation learning.
• Personalized Search: Develop large-scale machine learning systems to personalize search experiences, improving relevance and user engagement.
• Large-Scale Data Handling: Address challenges related to large-scale data processing, distributed system optimization, and the creation of high-availability, low-latency online services.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science or a related technical field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in search, risk control, or NLP.
  • Strong coding skills with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Proficient in problem-solving, modeling, and data analysis.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Publication records in top-tier journals or conferences.
  • ACM-ICPC medal winners will be considered a plus.
