Analyst – Principal Analyst (Data and Analytics Department)

Role Overview
In this Analyst – Principal Analyst role within the Data and Analytics Department, you will lead and engage internal stakeholders to promote an AI strategy to advance the board’s central corporate functions. Leveraging agile methodologies, data-driven technologies, and AI, this role aims to create solutions that enhance operational efficiency, build internal capacities, and strengthen engagement with citizens and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to develop proof-of-concept (POC) projects, implementing AI and digital solutions for transformation initiatives.
• Create an AI Ecosystem that enables quick deployment of AI and Generative AI use cases.
• Oversee project management, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and implementation plans.
• Engage stakeholders across departments, ensuring cohesive objectives through user journey mapping, change management, and education initiatives.
• Provide technical insights on solution feasibility, including AI and software development life cycles for POCs or production solutions.
• Collaborate with external partners throughout the project life cycle, from research and development to deployment.
• Stay informed on AI advancements and apply new findings to enhance ongoing projects and future use cases.

Requirements

• Education: Background in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related fields with a quantitative focus.
• Experience: Demonstrated expertise in managing digital transformation projects, with knowledge of data architecture, cloud technologies, AI, Generative AI, and large language models. Experience in digital solutions for corporate functions like finance, communications, and HR is advantageous.
• Skills: Proficient in stakeholder and project management with strong communication skills. Independent problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking are essential.
• Personal Qualities: Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and relationship-building, coupled with a team-oriented attitude and a keen interest in advancing Singapore’s energy and public service landscape.

Contract
This is a 3-year contract role.
