Role Overview
The Senior Data Scientist (Analytics) will play a key role in advancing product innovation through data-driven insights, working closely with the Product Analytics team to implement analytics and experimentation best practices. This role involves building data infrastructure to support a fast-paced content ranking and search ecosystem, guiding the design of controlled experiments, and partnering with product teams to improve decision-making and product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive data-driven decision-making by conducting proactive analyses on various products, algorithms, and operations.
• Define business metrics, create analytics frameworks, and design A/B experiments to track and optimize data points continuously.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to identify the causes of unexpected results and refine future product features.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, and develop custom data science models to address specific business scenarios.
• Present concise insights through reports, dashboards, and presentations, consolidating data from multiple sources to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a data-related field, with hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, R, or similar languages.
• Proficiency in handling large datasets and managing complex ETL processes.
• Strong foundation in statistics and experience with controlled experiments.
• Competency in PowerBI or equivalent data visualization tools.
