Key Job Responsibilities

• Data Science Expertise: Act as the Data Science expert, supporting Financial Crimes operations with analytics to enhance detection and support investigative scenarios.
• Advanced Data Analysis: Use data analytics to identify trends and insights within large datasets, addressing compliance issues.
• Predictive Model Development: Create models and algorithms to predict compliance risks and proactively mitigate them.
• Collaboration with Legal and Regulatory Teams: Ensure regulatory adherence through close collaboration on industry standards.
• AML Risk Assessments: Participate in risk assessments and audits, aiding in the identification of AML risks.
• Stakeholder Communication: Present product vision and data-driven strategies to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Data Process Optimization: Refine existing workflows to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
• Industry Awareness: Conduct research on market and competitor practices, keeping up with advancements in data science and AML practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in data science, analytics, or similar fields, preferably in compliance or financial services.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and familiarity with machine learning model development.
• Knowledge of AML and compliance analytics.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work collaboratively in dynamic environments.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to grow professionally.
• Familiarity with crypto industry regulations and compliance is a plus.
