Job Description

The company is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers to solve high-impact business and technical challenges. The role involves translating complex business objectives into production-ready applications, transforming enterprise data into operational workflows, and delivering tools that support decision-making across executive and frontline teams.

The successful candidate will work closely with customer stakeholders, rapidly develop and refine solutions, and take ownership of projects from initial requirements through implementation and ongoing success. This position requires strong software development skills, analytical thinking, customer communication, and the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.

The role follows a hybrid working model and requires travel to customer locations, typically around 10–30% of the time, depending on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to understand critical business objectives and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Architect, develop, and maintain applications that turn enterprise data into practical workflows and measurable business outcomes.
• Build end-to-end solutions using large structured and unstructured datasets in production environments.
• Rapidly prototype, develop, and iterate on systems, including applications built from the ground up.
• Work directly with executives, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deploy tools that improve business processes.
• Take end-to-end ownership of projects, including delivery, implementation, and long-term success.
• Embed within customer teams when needed, providing technical expertise and hands-on implementation support.
• Travel to customer sites to support deployments, implementation activities, and successful adoption.
• Collaborate in hybrid or in-person settings across company offices and customer locations during key project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience as a full-stack engineer, data engineer, or forward deployed engineer.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges and deliver practical, production-ready solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Demonstrated experience building applications that use large datasets in real-world production environments.
• A proven record of delivering measurable results through software development, data science, or technical analytics.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of outcomes, and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working directly with customers and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel for customer implementations, typically around 10–33% depending on project requirements.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid, in-person environment and on-site with customers when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise data platforms and AI development environments such as Palantir Foundry or AIP.
• Experience delivering production machine learning or large language model (LLM)-based solutions.
• Experience developing production-grade React frontend applications.
• Familiarity with Apache Spark, distributed computing, or large-scale data processing frameworks.
