The Crypto Data Science team works across product, engineering, finance, and research to develop strategies that support the growth of a rapidly expanding digital asset business. The team transforms complex data into actionable insights that influence product development, international expansion, customer growth, and the overall direction of the crypto business.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of data scientists and analytics engineers working across product and machine learning domains.
- Partner closely with crypto product, engineering, finance, and research teams to drive strategic initiatives, including international expansion, professional trader growth, and digital wallet adoption.
- Deliver robust, data-driven recommendations and analyses that influence product direction and business strategy.
- Apply data science to opportunities involving stock tokens, perpetuals, blockchain technologies, and other emerging areas within the crypto ecosystem.
- Foster a culture of excellence in analytics, experimentation, technical innovation, and measurable business impact.
- Represent the Crypto Data Science function in cross-functional leadership forums.
- Contribute to the broader strategy and growth of the crypto organization.
- Develop scalable analytical solutions that support complex product and business decisions.
- Build strong partnerships across technical and business functions to translate data into meaningful outcomes.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of professional experience in data science.
- At least 2+ years of experience managing and developing people.
- Deep experience with Python and SQL in production or analytics environments.
- Proven success in product-focused data science roles.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver strategic insights and scalable analytical solutions.
- Strong understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem.
- 3–4 years of direct experience in crypto is highly preferred.
- Strong executive presence and the ability to influence decisions across multiple teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
