Company Overview
A growing healthcare technology organization is focused on reimagining how people access care by bringing healthcare services directly to patients’ homes. Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the organization’s AI enablement strategy across engineering, operations, clinical, data, finance, and other functions.
- Work directly with teams to understand their workflows, identify high-impact AI opportunities, and translate business requirements into working technical solutions.
- Build bespoke AI agents, background workflows, internal tools, and automations addressing operational, clinical, and engineering challenges.
- Develop reusable playbooks, prompt libraries, skill libraries, workflow templates, and reference architectures that enable teams to self-serve.
- Establish shared context and knowledge systems that allow AI tools to use organizational data, documentation, codebases, and business context effectively.
- Evaluate, configure, and recommend AI tools while making practical build-versus-buy decisions based on safety, scalability, usability, team requirements, and cost.
- Configure and optimize AI coding assistants and agentic workflows for existing codebases, engineering conventions, and development practices.
- Create evaluation sets, benchmarks, and review processes that help teams distinguish reliable AI outputs from inaccurate or misleading results.
- Establish safe and repeatable deployment patterns for AI-built applications, internal tools, models, workflows, and data systems.
- Partner with SRE, IT, Security, Legal, and clinical stakeholders to establish appropriate tool approval, deployment, access, privacy, and patient-data safeguards.
- Conduct recurring AI office hours, training sessions, hackathons, and hands-on enablement programs.
- Measure AI adoption, productivity improvements, quality gains, and operational impact using meaningful performance indicators.
- Communicate AI strategy, adoption progress, risks, and opportunities to individual contributors, managers, and executive leadership.
- Help non-technical teams adopt AI efficiently while ensuring patient safety, privacy, and quality are incorporated from the beginning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Senior, Staff, or equivalent-level experience with technical responsibility spanning multiple teams.
- Experience building internal AI platforms, agent frameworks, evaluation systems, workflow automation platforms, or developer productivity tooling.
- Experience helping organizations adopt AI tools through measurable and repeatable programs.
- Experience establishing centralized prompt libraries, skill libraries, workflow libraries, or knowledge and context hubs.
- Experience with MCP servers, internal tool integrations, RAG systems, or AI agents connected to business systems.
- Experience working with healthcare data, PHI, HIPAA-aware workflows, or other regulated environments.
- Experience partnering with security, IT, legal, compliance, or clinical teams to safely approve and deploy AI technologies.
- A demonstrated history of teaching, writing, conducting workshops, giving technical talks, or delivering training.
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment where velocity, enablement, and practical judgment are important.
