The organization is seeking an Engineering Manager, Enterprise Applied AI to lead the technical delivery of enterprise AI deployments. This role sits within the Applied AI organization and focuses on helping enterprise customers implement production-ready AI systems that solve complex business challenges.

The successful candidate will lead customer-facing engineering teams, partner closely with go-to-market and delivery functions, and ensure the successful deployment of scalable AI solutions. This position requires a strong combination of technical leadership, customer engagement, team management, and execution excellence in fast-moving environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner directly with enterprise customers to align technical requirements with business objectives.
• Serve as a bridge between engineering, sales, go-to-market, and delivery teams.
• Co-lead technical delivery efforts alongside operational counterparts to implement production-ready AI systems.
• Translate complex and ambiguous business workflows into scalable AI-powered solutions.
• Integrate AI systems with enterprise platforms, APIs, internal tools, and data sources.
• Guide the deployment of AI workflows, agent orchestration systems, evaluation frameworks, and continuous learning feedback loops.
• Hire, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams.
• Establish engineering best practices and scalable technical delivery processes.
• Collaborate closely with product, research, platform engineering, and commercial teams to bring new AI capabilities into production environments.
• Ensure deployments are reliable, scalable, secure, and aligned with customer expectations.
• Remove blockers, support team execution, and drive successful customer outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production software systems with strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, Rust, or similar technologies.
• 2+ years of experience directly managing technical teams.
• Proven experience leading customer-facing technical delivery for enterprise software, AI products, or developer platforms.
• Strong background in designing distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and make effective technical decisions in rapidly evolving environments.
• Experience coaching engineers and fostering high-performance team cultures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain execution velocity in unstructured settings.
