Summary
The Solutions Engineer – Robotics & Autonomous Driving serves as a trusted technical advisor throughout the pre-sales lifecycle, partnering with customers to design AI-powered solutions for robotics and autonomous driving applications. This role collaborates closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to deliver technical demonstrations, proof of concepts, and scalable data solutions while driving customer success and influencing product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives and Engagement Managers to deliver successful customer pilots and strengthen technical relationships with existing clients.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering and Product Management teams to influence future product development based on customer feedback.
• Develop expertise in robotics, physical AI, Vision Language Models (VLMs), Vision Language Actions (VLAs), and world models.
• Provide technical guidance on multi-modal data pipelines, including LiDAR, Radar, Camera, IMU, and sensor fusion technologies.
• Design technical solutions that bridge simulation environments and real-world deployment.
• Develop Statements of Work (SOWs) and collaborate with delivery teams to implement high-quality ground truth solutions.
• Design and deliver technical demonstrations, proof of concepts, and customer playbooks to support successful implementations.
• Build strong relationships with customer engineering teams and provide ongoing technical support.
• Contribute to the development of a global robotics data marketplace by engaging strategic international partners.
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, customer workshops, and technical events.
• Travel internationally to conduct onsite workshops, scope projects, and support customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience developing software using Python, C++, Java, or similar programming languages.
• Hands-on experience in Autonomous Driving, Robotics, Physical AI, or related technologies.
• Strong understanding of computer vision, sensor fusion, GPS/INS navigation systems, 2D and 3D imaging, and autonomy-related technologies.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable with regular travel within the Bay Area and international travel approximately once every two months.
• Self-motivated with strong ownership, adaptability, and intellectual curiosity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Sales, Partnerships, or a customer-facing technical role.
• Experience selling complex enterprise technology solutions with deal sizes ranging from $500K to $5M or more.
