Company Overview
A leading enterprise AI technology company is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Software Engineer to help build the infrastructure powering next-generation AI solutions. The organization develops scalable AI platforms that enable enterprises to deploy intelligent agents securely and efficiently across highly regulated industries, with a strong focus on innovation, reliability, security, and cloud-native technologies.

Summary
The Staff Infrastructure Software Engineer will serve as a technical leader responsible for designing and building the infrastructure that powers enterprise AI platforms. This role focuses on architecting secure, scalable, and highly available multi-cloud systems while driving engineering best practices, infrastructure automation, and platform reliability. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with leadership and mentorship to shape long-term infrastructure strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Architect multi-cloud systems and abstractions that enable AI platforms to operate across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Define scalable architectural patterns to support secure, reliable, and enterprise-grade AI agent workflows.
  • Analyze build, testing, and operational metrics using AI-driven insights to identify opportunities for platform improvements.
  • Improve infrastructure reliability, efficiency, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, data quality, reconciliation processes, and anomaly detection.
  • Collaborate with platform and product engineering teams to design infrastructure that supports evolving business requirements.
  • Design scalable, low-latency frameworks for orchestrating and evaluating enterprise-scale multi-agent AI systems.
  • Lead infrastructure roadmap initiatives with a strong emphasis on compliance, security, privacy, and data isolation.
  • Develop and maintain observability platforms including logging, monitoring, tracing, and analytics to ensure system health and rapid incident response.
  • Drive Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) adoption and develop automation tools that improve developer productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor engineers and establish engineering standards and best practices across infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience in senior or staff-level roles.
  • Strong expertise in modern infrastructure practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Helm Charts), Kubernetes, and observability platforms such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Extensive experience with at least one major cloud platform, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security, compliance, identity and access management, data isolation, and customer-specific Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) architectures.
  • Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript and SQL.
  • Experience designing highly scalable, secure, and reliable distributed systems.
  • Strong collaboration, leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with AI agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), vector databases, or related AI technologies is a strong advantage.
